A lost rose petal floated through my life
Looking for the path that she should tread
Seeking for a shelter from the strife
And planting lots of visions in my head
A lovely looking girl and full of fun
I’m pleased to say she treats me as a friend
She quickly found out I was not the one
And there’s no point in only “let’s pretend”
But every time I see her pretty face
I need to ask her how she is today
For in my heart I hold a special place
And in that space I hope she’ll always stay
So Mindie my good friend, this is for you
I want you to have the best in all you do
