A fter the shades or our terror
M ake way for the light of a dawn
E ach moment of bliss mends the error
L eft lurking from all we have drawn.
I know that a love makes life better
O ur hearts blending beats in a tune;
R ebuilding the fences that fetter
A ll fears that a lifetime has hewn.
T ogether we’re certain to climb
E ach rockface that guards the sublime.
