An Evening Meal for Me!

They’re cooking in the kitchen
Pork chops and apple sauce
My tongue has started itchin’
For Yorkshire pud of course
Now peas are very tasty
And runner beans beside
I mustn’t be too hasty
To stuff it all inside
The meal is on the table
It’s there for me to eat
So now I find I’m able
To make myself complete
There’s strawberries for afters
A little bit of cream
I’m stuffed up to the rafters
It’s time to snooze and dream!!!
