Two witches cast the future on the heath;
The scene perhaps, that Shakespeare saw in dreams.
A raging fire that crackles underneath,
At least to me that’s how the picture seems.
Another look and evil eyes appear;
A demon leers, a beak above a smile.
A tribal mask, perhaps presenting fear.
The image seems to hover for a while.
A scarab now, but what is on the sides;
Or cartoon wolf, Road Runner better run!
What mechanism in your mind decides
If that’s a shape of menace or of fun?
The patterns change in every Rorschach test,
What madness does a cartoon face suggest?
