And dream of you

When the day dawns cold and grey and Summer’s past
You may wonder what a fool may find to do
Though the best of times it seemed could never last
That poor fool can close his eyes and dream of you
When your life is on the turn you start to smile
And you hope that you’ll be happy for a while
There’s a starting of a chapter, things are new
So I’m going to close my eyes and dream of you
Author notes
Rispetto, I have conflicting information, some say iambic tetrameter, so I
wrote one of those and some say hendecasyllabic (11 syllables), so this is in
11 syllables (I think haven’t actually counted just read it aloud and thought
it sounded good)
