Annoying Nonsense

What noise annoys an oyster that’s cuddled up in bed
And makes it drop its toys-ter start shivering instead?
The sound of shuckers shucking will make an oyster scream,
Like pheasant pluckers plucking disturbs a gamebirds dream.
If you like easy oysters, relaxed in all they do,
Then sending rowdy boys-ter shellshuck them’s not for you!

I think the phrase “What noise annoys an oyster” comes from Dr Seuss apologies
to the memory of a great man.
