I wish I’d not hung up the phone
I didn’t want to do it
And when you turned up at my door
I tried to let you through it
But it was your turn to turn away
And leave me feeling flat
I’m as sorry as sorry can be
If I left you like that
I may sometimes be moody and preoccupied
It’s never your fault at all
It’s that I can be selfish and not think of you
And now I am feeling so small
So if you can forgive me, and give me a chance
I’ll try the best I can
To think of your feelings, and value your loving
And treat you like my man
