Bathing

I dive inside the beauty that I see
The crystal waters of these perfect pools
No lake appears more beautiful to me
I’ll leave all other waters to the fools
The green fringed depths are calling to my soul
The iridescent magic from below
It’s only in these waters I am whole
Where all your perfect knowledge is on show
I hope that other pools will draw you in
To find the secrets I don’t know I keep
In underwater dreams we may begin
A common understanding that runs deep
It is in pools like these that beauty lies
I’ll bathe away my life within your eyes
