To keep them warm throughout the storm
The troops perform in uniform
They are not paid to be displayed
So don’t parade as they were made

I’m not aware of anywhere
Troops bash the square while they are bare
The squaddies said they’d drop down dead
If they were led while clothes were shed

Our tars aren’t free to set to sea
With “he or she” shown brazenly
No pilots fly where every eye
Can freely spy why they are shy

So don’t be fools obey the rules
Unlike the mules who show their tools
Observe the norm when you perform
Unless it’s warm wear uniform!
Author notes

letter U and a voice in my head sung this to me. However each word could only
be used once and uniform was taken …
