Bloody Easter!

This time of year is rather queer
If chocolate’s off your list
When all around get brown stuff downed
You start to feel quite pissed
It is not fair that you can’t share
This annual jamboree
This gift of hate would ulcerate
My mouth and tongue you see
I still find treats in other sweets
But have to stay retrained
I’m off to bake a chocolate cake
That I can eat unpained!

Cocoa butter gives me mouth ulcers, fortunately cocoa powder does not so I can
still make and eat delicious chocolate cakes, but I REALLY want to gorge on all
that lovely lovely chocolate …
