A friend has got a virus it appears
It doesn’t make her sneeze or blow her nose
But day by day the grief it causes grows
And day by day it ages her by years
The virus seems to thrive on simple fears
It laughs and welcomes other viri in
So smug and certain it is going to win
And day by day it ages her by years
She knows that when the strange infection clears
The Internet will welcome her again
But till it does the web is full of pain
And day by day it ages her by years
