It wasn’t quite the way it seemed
Her quiet satisfaction
Was greater than recurring dreams
That called her into action
He’d never do those things again
A little blood to end the pain
The knife was sharp the end was sure
There was no altercation
She made quite certain of the cure
A swift extermination
She’ll never hear his creaking shoes
And wonder what he’ll choose to use
A violent start, a violent end
Now all is quietude
A single stroke she used to send
A change of attitude
Her life will now be turned to hell
But she made sure he’s there as well!
