There are few things more depressing
Than to see, as it recedes,
The rear end of what I’m stressing
Was what would have met my needs.
I had hurried to the station,
Just a little over-late,
Please imagine my deflation
With the scene I must relate.
For the rear end that I told you
Was the cause of all my pain,
Was the rear, now I must hold you,
Was the rear end of my train!
