Dancing at sunset

The lovers dance beneath the setting sun
Where golden rays caress her suntanned skin
As all across the beach their love is spun
His lips and fingers lead the way to sin
Her dress was light, unequal to the task
Of fending off determined wand’ring hands
So nakedly her eyes are left to ask
The questions that her lover understands
Now reds and golds erupt across the skies
And paint the clouds in tones of poetry
Lain on the sand the beauty fills her eyes
While she erupts in moans of ecstasy
The flowing tide stands witness to the way
The dance of love is changed to lover’s play
