I thought of you as I walked home again
And in those thoughts I felt the summer sun
When you and I may lose ourselves fun
And all the time I loved you in the rain
To struggle through the winter is a strain
But I can dream of you and happy days
When we can make amends in many ways

You changed my world in ways I can’t explain
And pushed my heart to find another theme
The weather won’t erase my newborn dream
