Brown and smelly, sitting there
Of it’s presence all aware
Spreading round the living room
Quite an air of nasty gloom
Bloody dog forgot to bark
Suppose he thought it quite a lark
The cold wet rain that met his eyes
Meant he left a brown surprise
But we’re not going to clean him up
‘Til Dad gets home it is his pup!
