You trap more flies with honey than with mustard
The biggest win’s when no-one has to lose
The sharpest tart is better served with custard
Don’t pick the fight when it’s the time to choose.
So what if “they” think you are bloody foolish,
Who cares what others say, they’re wasting words.
I’d rather bend than die through acting mulish
An empty triumph’s best left to the birds.
If service stinks just smile and say you’re sorry,
Then go next door and spend your money there.
The greatest hunters never scare their quarry
There’s love enough for everyone to share.
An angry rant won’t lead them to the way
They’ll carry on, but you’ll have ruined your day.
