Mairi bheag is Scotland’s bard.
A lady born in Old Dundee.
If you have had a day too hard,
She’ll set you free.

She rhymes and flows in perfect style.
From sat beside the River Tay.
And conjures verses to beguile
The gods at play.

Her English sonnets make me sigh,
With beauty found on heather moor.
They’ll bring a tear to any eye
What verse is for.

A charming nature she has shown,
In commenting upon my rhyme.
Now I’ll not leave her work alone,
For any time.

Author notes
Mairi_bheag writes beautiful sonnets and other things besides, don’t take my
word for it, read her, what else is AP for?
