Early morning, bloody phone
Why can’t they leave me on my own!
Try to focus, site is slow
It’s half past six – who wants to know?
Struggle downstairs look at screen
Wonder what the warnings mean
Problem traced and scripts restarted
Other issues, before I’ve parted
Body screaming go to bed!
Insistent pounding in my head
All now well but time has gone
It’s time to wake, put clothing on
Have a wash and have a shave
The dream I’ve lost I cannot save
All the bloody things I do
To bring the cricket scores to you!
