Eat Away!

If you’re feeling flustered
Then apples and custard
Are what you need to eat
And you’ll soon be dreamin’
While stirring ice-cream in
The angels’ favourite sweet
Though some like an eye full
Of their mother’s pie full
Of nuts and hedgerow fruit
They’re sadly mistaken
And must soon awaken
There’s just one dish to suit
Get down to the kitchen
Before you start itchin’
And grab yourself a bowl
Your spoon starts to pile in
And you will be smilin’
As taste restores your soul
So eat all your pudd’n
And if it’s a goodun
Your day will soon seem bright

My madness diminished
I’ll wish you all good night!
