This pub must be the perfect place to drink
Where sober men all stagger to the bar
The deepest man would never dare to think
Until they’ve downed at least another jar

Don’t nudge an arm and cause some beer to spill
The pool that forms will take your breath away
When wasted beer proceeds to run uphill
You may just think you’ve had enough today

Then when you leave don’t turn to say goodbye
You’ll never find the way to walk a line
When you have caught those uprights in your eye
The path you tread will be as straight as mine

And I have drunk enough today to see
This public house looks quite OK to me!
