Eternity and more

I’ll love you for forever and a day,
Eternity can’t be enough for me.
However long you find that you can stay,
I know that I won’t want to set you free.
I’ll love you while the Moon still shines at night
And love you more each day beneath the sun.
In all the words I find the strength to write,
In all the poetry that I’ve begun.
And you will love me too. I hope that’s true.
Could it be I really have a chance?
There cannot be another one like you
Who’d even offer me a second glance.
In love until the stars have disappeared,
You’ve conquered everything I ever feared.
