Fallen rainbows

There’s a valley shyly hidden where all rainbows go to die
Painting colours never dreamed of all around
When you walk along the hillside you’re assaulted in the eye
By a million perfect paintdrops on the ground
All the greens that aren’t in grassland all the reds the roses missed
Touched by oranges and violets by the way
When the yellow slopes that face you have been softly sunset kissed
You will know that there are fairies still at play
When the world has kicked you harshly and your spirit needs a lift
Then a visit to this valley could be just the perfect gift
