Fat, blue and happy

Melvin says that you should smile
A happy dragon all the while
Don’t let worries bring you down
Who is helped by nervous frown?
Just think of dragons fat and blue
Who send their love to such as you
Search the faces that you see
A dragon hiding there may be
And when you spot one give a smile
To a happy dragon all the while!

Melvin is a friend of mine, who appears in many poems and is a terrible
babysitter. Oh yes and he’s a fat blue dragon who rarely frowns and can’t fly
to well owing to liking ice-cream a little too much.
