Feeling blue

I don’t like feeling sad, it isn’t me
And yet today I find that I am blue
I need to find the way to set me free
I think I know the only way is you
The sun is out there’s not a hint of grey
And yet I find I cannot raise a smile
I hope this melancholy goes away
And I can sit beside you for a while
I’ll roll away the clouds with you and dreams
Then put my sorrows back upon the shelf
I’m sure the world is not the way it seems
The greyness just a mirror of myself
Eventually my mood will make amends
Then I can smile and laugh with all my friends
