In England when you steal from homes you burgle
A common verb which comes as no surprise
But speaking in a transatlantic gurgle
A burglar finds the need to burglarize

And when he has he’ll be a burlarizer
The house he robbed a burglarizered home
Each lengthened word’s another appetiser
For yet another puff of verbal foam

I’ve not yet heard of any buglarizerers
In all reports of crime across the pond
But I’ve no doubt their language manglerizerers
Will get there soon then travel far beyond!

You’ve dropped some “u”s and garbled every word
A common tongue? Please do not be absurd!

Author notes
I heard a US news report on “burglarize” grated
