I’m searching for the perfect toy
To give a little thug
He really is a lovely boy
Who drinks trouble by the mug
In these days a gun is out
Even a pink and plastic space one
A cricket bat I do not doubt
Would be a whack you in the face one
A bicycle, for smash and grab?
A football for breaking glass?
A pet maybe? A giant crab?
To terrorise his class.
Ah yes I know! Have I the cash?
There are no ifs or buts
A drum-kit large and loud and brash
Will drive his parents nuts!
