Golden Summer Treasures

On a sultry summer’s night a band was playing
As the stars decided, one by one to shine;
When I saw her stand to dance and, softly swaying,
She fell out of someone’s dream and into mine.

To the echoes of the singer’s sweet seductions
She became an angel sent to win my heart,
With a smile that said “no need of introductions
It’s on nights like this that real romances start.”

In my arms she seemed as soft as evening breezes
On a long white beach as sun begins to set.
She responded to my touch with gentle teases
With the closing notes our eager kisses met.

In the taxi we exchanged our first embraces
In her hotel room we traded something more
And our fingers found exciting secret places
As the little we were wearing found the floor

In the winter you remember summer pleasures
As you think about the ways her body swayed
And you find once more the golden summer treasures
Making love to all the tunes the band had played

Author notes
More gently romantic han sensual perhaps …
