Goodnight my love and dream me out to sea,
We’ll float beneath a million laughing stars.
The Moon’s a smile and you are poetry,
Our desert isle’s the best of Shangri las.
Goodnight to you, the captain of my boat,
Set sail with me on silver crested waves;
We’ll harvest all the crystal hopes that float,
Like Mozart’s notes, on life’s immortal staves.
Love me tonight with just one tender kiss
That lasts until forever fades from view.
There’ll never be a sweeter night than this
If I can dream I spend it next to you.
Goodnight my love, lets find our hideaway,
And live in dreams ungreyed by everyday.
