A glass of wine to welcome in the year
Another one to bid the old farewell
So gather round and offer up a cheer
The next twelve months will be a tale to tell
I hope to learn some more about my friends
So I can bring each one a little light
I’ve always known my happiness depends
On making sure my friends are feeling right
So join me now in singing “Auld lang syne”
Remember all the best of yesterday
Tomorrow we begin a new design
And you and I will find new things to say
Best wishes to the old and to the new
