Her hideaway

A lovely lady lying in her bed
Is dreaming dreams of flying far away
The pain of life forgotten in her head
Where thoughts can stay untroubled by today
A hideaway where no-one else intrudes
And roses grow in every colour known
Where tender moments aren’t brief interludes
And she is not left sleeping on her own
As dreams are joined by searching fingertips
The hideaway becomes a lover’s nest
Inside her heart she feels him tease her lips
And then she sighs that he has found the rest
Some lives are lived just next to ecstasy
But dreams like hers set everybody free
