In silence I survey the spring
As sunlight floods a greening field
The cheerful day conspires to bring
A solitude too well concealed
Fresh leaves explode from everywhere
So winter’s damages are healed
But sadness takes me unaware
A solitude too well concealed
For me your words are all around
Each time I read more is revealed
Today I’m sure that I have found
A solitude too well concealed
In silence I survey the spring
A solitude too well concealed
