Is it a pain if you don’t know you hurt?
You lived without the hurt for many years
Was only when the chance came to convert
That I found that I was built from tears
When all is hidden by the life you lead
The sticky plaster of a happy smile
You may not even know you have the need
To find the strength to stand up to the trial
And now that life is open to my eyes
Without a space to hide and just pretend
I find that there’s a painful nice surprise
Within the heart of every loving friend
I do not know how I can find the way
But I must change my life from yesterday
