Hollow beauty

Her golden brown legs
were long and shapely.
Her hair, light brown,
reached to her waist
and her open smile
melted the hardest
metal hearts.
I wooed her assiduously,
moved in closer bought
her drinks and trinkets.
We made love, while she
painted her nails and
talked about her friends.
