Home again

I just had a large mug of tea
And now I’m too tired to see
I’ve flown home China
To weather that’s finer
And someone has made tea for me
The Great Wall of China was soaking
But nobody stops me from “bloking”
It’s only cold water
We’re home so we ought-ter
Consider the rain gods were joking
Tomorrow, when jet-lag has faded,
My writing may seem more “unjaded”
Now bedtime is calling
To sleep I’ll be falling
Where dreams can write stories unaided
Author notes
Just back from China, more poems and I hope some pics tomorrow …
