How do you say it?

The empty page stares blankly at my face
My pen admits it hasn’t got a clue
No sparkling words are falling into place
I only want to say that I love you
I closed my eyes to try to find my muse
The magic spark that lights up something new
He didn’t even bother to refuse
But wouldn’t help me say that I love you
It can’t be hard to find a perfect line
When you are poetry in all you do
But I can’t write a letter I can sign
That gives the simple message I love you
How can it be so difficult to say
When all I do is love you every day
