I knew that you would not be true
And yet I loved you constantly
I grew all through the things you’d do
And hurt from how you treated me
We met my pet I would forget
But I remember perfectly
You set the bet without regret
And I was yours eternally
From start my heart was torn apart
I loved you more on every day
To chart the art which would depart
You broke me down in every way
I left bereft destroyed by theft
You stole from me my ardent fire
So deft you cleft left me un-Jeffed
And yet you’d met my whole desire
Begin within to mend from sin
Now I have left your lying eyes
Thin skin chagrin but I shall win
I love you still despite your lies
