Good afternoon, so pleased to see
you here to drink a cup of tea
Please take a seat, I’ll cut some cake
it’s chocolate, how I love to bake
You say your day was not too bad
I have to say I’m rather glad
How many sugars? Just the two
afraid I have one more than you
The trains are bad, they crush us all
in far too tight and I’m not small
And buses, no! they never run
the dreadful wait is never fun
You’re ready for another now?
I’ll fetch more milk, we need a cow!
The biscuits came from France I think
you sure you’ve had enough to drink?
Ah here he is, you’re not too late
I hope you didn’t mind the wait
I’ll see you soon, goodnight from me
I’ll make myself another tea!
