And if I could I’d hold you like a treasure in my arms,
Experiencing the pleasures of your sweet seductive charms.
We would whisper all that matters, quantum physics, chocolate cake;
With my self control in tatters from the liberties I’d take.
And if I could I’d tease you every night and every day,
As I did my best to please you in that very special way
And while everyone around us curled asleep without a care
We would feel the special frisson only kindred souls can share.
And if I could I’d kiss you and I’d never let you go
Until my eyes were taken by the best of you on show.
There’s joy that’s near unequalled when the sight that you can see
Is a lady wearing little as she makes a cup of tea.
And if I could I’d show you every secret in the World
I would try my best to know you as your deepest dreams unfurled
And though I can never keep you until evermore comes true
There can never be tomorrow without room for me and you.
