Infinity is larger than you think

Infinity’s far larger than you think
It’s larger than the largest that can be
A billion years is far less than a wink
If anything can last eternally.
If you can read a chapter every second
Then you can read three million books a year
The total number published has been reckoned
You’d read them all before old age came near
Infinity means everything exists,
However small the chance it must be there —
The fabric of reality untwists
If anything extends to everywhere.
To meet all men alive for just one minute
(That’s barely time to ask each one their name)
A million year old man could just begin it
Eternity makes such a task seem tame
Infinity defies all common sense
One in a trillion chances everyday
An unarmed man can breach the best defence
The World’s worst team win any game they play
You’d count each grain of sand and every pebble
On every beach and in each desert too
You’d find your self as government and rebel
And know no side has ideas that are new
Infinity’s as bad as it can be
Eternity means never breaking free!
