You cannot know the root of two
The proof of that’s not hard to do
I’ll leave the looking up to you
Since sums are fun
And Pi can’t be a ratio
That anyone can come to know
There’s lots of proofs that I could show
Why not find one
Another one that’s known to me
Is Euler’s number (known as e)
It’s just a little less than three
Now let’s rerun
They aren’t so thin upon the ground
There are examples all around
Irrational numbers just abound
And now I’m done
