It’s All A Crooked Game

It’s all a crooked game of chase the lady
The world’s a bungo booth where all must play
It’s impolite to call the players shady
But bent or straight the game is here to stay
The rich get rich some poor are also richer
But others only play the game to lose
When deals are done you’re either fool or stitcher
Who joins the ends, you simply have to choose.
Some people think the game is right for changing
They’re right of course, but that can’t ever be
Another game would take too much arranging
And revolutions lead to misery
We’ve spun the wheel and seen how money flows
Where it will end, for now, nobody knows!
