Jack and Jill went up the Limerick

First Jack and his sister ascended
Fetched water as they had intended
Then Jack had a fumble
And Jill took a tumble
The two of them quickly descended
So Jack rose and ran to Dame Trot
The nearest first-aiders he’d spot
She bandaged his head up
But now he feels fed up
As vinegar stinks quite a lot!

Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
First Jack fell down and broke his crown
Then Jill came tumbling after
Then up Jack got and home did trot
As fast as he could caper
Where Old Dame Trot wrapped up his knot
With vinegar and brown paper.
