Jeff’s Spiritual Poem

I’ve had my fill of wines and beers
But, though each liquid quickly cheers,
I’ve been aware for many years,
That I need something more.
Some drinks are mildly fortified
So their effects are multiplied —
That they are good can’t be denied,
But I need something more.
And celebration goes with fizz,
A Champagne or a Cava is
A drink that nearly does the biz,
Though I need something more.
It’s whisky, rum or London gin
That tells my body to begin.
These stronger spirits help me win,
They give a little more.
In Russia all the people know,
That vodka gives a party go;
And now my glass is empty, so —
I’m off to get some more!!!
Please let me have some more
I’m not crashed on the floor
Damn now my head is sore
Don’t throw me out the door
Us drunks mean you ain’t poor
PLEASE GIVE ME JUST ONE MORE
I ONLY WANT ONE MORE
I love you,
your my best mate you are
everyone else hates me
I really really love you
jeez
I only want a little drinkie
why are they shouting
