Just a dream?

But was it just a dream to feel your hair
And then your lips, where I can only dream?
So long since any other hand was there,
Can things be quite as perfect as they seem?
And is it just a dream to feel your kiss,
Whilst love rejoices where I felt your lips?
Can it be that I really lived the bliss,
The heaven that I feel within your grips.
But when I woke you were not by my side
And yet I sense a change within my bed.
My warm elation cannot be denied
But are such feelings only in the head?
And will you be with me again tonight?
My darling will you ever be in sight?
