She is not gone while held inside your heart
A part of you and safe from all the world
While you still live you cannot be apart
If deep inside your love she’s gently curled
You’ll hear her voice when you are on your own
She’ll be with you each time you speak with friends
She’s grown in you from seeds that love has sown
Keep hold of her and feel the strength she lends
We each are here for just the shortest span
But in that time the best can light your life
