At twenty past six the train draws in
I’ve brought her cake with me
Some old Baker’s tricks have helped me win
The race from half past three

A Birthday for Clare with dinner too
This seems a special day
Some gossip to share and steak, will do
She smiles and says OK

We laugh and agree, I drink her eyes
While she explodes in mine
A cider for me is no surprise
And she is drinking wine

Her tellings of lust and men in bed
Are fun to listen to
Sweet teasing a must to fill my head
That’s what she loves to do

It’s over too soon a hug a kiss
I walk her to the door
Just like a good tune my dreamshod Miss
Has left me wanting more

Author notes
The cake was bright pink with a Silhouette of the lady in question dancing on
it.
