Lilac eyes filled with pain
Never see her love again
Missing said the telegram
She was already missing Sam.
By the phone she sits and waits
TV newsman calmly states
Plane has crashed, all maybe lost
He loved his job but what a cost
All alone she sits and cries
Her pain shown in her eyes.
