Those Aussies have paid a high price
For following dreadful advice
In a nation that sporty
You shouldn’t be naughty
And cheating at cricket’s not nice
When Bancroft and Warner were chatting
About the South African’s batting
They thought a grand caper
Would be using sandpaper
To change shiny leather to matting
They may not have cheated before
A momentary judgment was poor
But if that’s the case
There’s a question to face
What did they have sandpaper for?
