The three little pigs are grown up now,
Need to set up home but don’t know how.
An ebay offer may just fit
The first pig’s bought a flat pack kit.

The build goes quick so he’s out for the night
But when he’s back things don’t look right.
The door’s not strong it bends in the breeze
A hungry wolf gets in with ease!

Our second pig says “I’m no fool”
He’s bought  his house from a friend from school
The walls are old and paper thin
And two more wolves have broken in!

These first two pigs are running fast
They spot their brothers home at last.
His urgent shouts rush them along
But the walls and door don’t look too strong.

There’s nowhere else, so they rush inside
And look for places they can hide.
They don’t understand their brother’s smile
He’s picked his home with loads of guile.

Ignoring squeals of raw alarm
He makes them tea and seems so calm
He tells his brothers “I’m smarter than you
The café next door sells Korean dog stew!”

Author notes
The three most important things to consider when buying a house are allegedly
“location location location”
This is a reworking of a longer poem I wrote many years ago to fit the contest
rules of under 200 words I think there are 181 words retelling the tale of the
“Three Little Pigs”
